PANEL ONE
Glott and Terry sit under the tree.
GLOTT:
Change is for the weak. The strong persist.
TERRY:
Change is inevitable. You can’t stop the ocean currents or the rising tide.
PANEL TWO
Glott pumps a righteous fist, ambition in their eyes.
GLOTT:
Challenge accepted. I’m going to do both of those things, just you watch. I’m going to get in that stupid ocean’s business and tell it to sit still!
PANEL THREE
Terry raises a finger as they raise a point.
TERRY:
But to calm the ocean is to change its nature.
PANEL FOUR
Glott ponders.
GLOTT:
Dang. Well I won’t do that then. I’ll do absolutely nothing like I alluded to at the start of our dialog.
PANEL FIVE
Glott stomps foot, pouting, as Terry’s counterpoint destroys their new ambition.
TERRY:
You are someone who does things on occasion. You doing nothing is also a change in your behavior.
GLOTT:
Double dang. Danged if you do, danged if you don’t. Triple dang!
THE END.
