Color Space

How to use this PDF

This PDF is designed for print on 8.5 x 11″ (letter) paper, print it in portrait and DOUBLE-SIDED. After printing and cutting, you’ll have three booklets that you can stick with the game.

After printing it double-sided:

  1. Cut it into three strips along the light grey, horizontal lines.
  2. Vertically fold a strip in half, based on the margin between the middle sections.
  3. Fold the strip in half again, such that the booklet cover is visible first.
  4. Repeat this process for all three strips.

Each booklet should fold and unfold into itself like the original rules booklets that game with Color Space. Booklets should not fold like a fan or accordion.

v2.0

From the depths of the expanse, a new way to play Color Space emerges!

•Modified gameplay for both players
•New setup experience
•Space player has been renamed as Cosmos player
•Cadets player has been renames as Scavengers player
•Cosmos now pulls objects using black holes instead of pushing
•Scavenger ships no longer can be pushed out of space
•Scavenger ships now get stuck when moved to an incompatible tile (for example, moving the orange ship to a blue tile, as blue can’t be used to make the color orange)
•New win objective for Cosmos: Get all three Scavenger ships stuck on incompatible tiles to win
•Many more small adjustments to streamline gameplay while still maintaining the spirit of Color Space

v1.1

•Added clarification bullet point on Black Hole bearing tiles under “Choosing a tile to move” section
•Updated visual example showing which tiles can be moved under “Choosing a tile to move” section
